Prague — Path-Traced 3D Orthophoto City Map · Framed Matte Poster

RM 145.80

Every building in this map is real. The footprints and roof heights come from Prague's official 3D city model (IPR Praha), the terrain from the ČÚZK DMR 5G LiDAR survey — and then I lit the whole city with a physically based path tracer, the same technique film studios use. The soft shadows falling across the street canyons aren't drawn; they're computed, ray by ray, from a sun standing 60° above the horizon.

Here the same computed light falls on the real city — the official ČÚZK aerial survey, draped over the 3D model so the photographed streets carry path-traced shadow. Roofs are coloured by measured building height, north is up, and the scale bar is honest.

Printed on museum-quality matte paper in an Ayous wood frame, ready to hang.
